An ancient evil, born from the chaos of the Ur'Daemon War, threatens to plunge all of Elanthia into darkness as it brings about a tide of turmoil and destruction. Cities will burn while empires are fractured, testing both the strength of alliances and the mettle of their heroes. As the end of days approaches, faith in the Arkati will be tried and it will take every sword, spell and mind to overcome the enemy, lest the world cross into shadows.
Cross into Shadows has officially begun and will last for twelve months! While much of the action will begin with Wehnimer's Landing, there will be ramifications and other developments in almost every other town, so all players will have a chance to participate in the world shaking events if they desire, wherever they may be!
There will be copious amounts of roleplaying and combat, so plenty of fun for whatever your preference! In addition, players will get a chance to visit places never before available in-game, such as legendary areas like the Demonwall, Doggoroth Keep, the Wyrdeep Forest and many more!
The storyline will be filled with unexpected twists, murder, political intrigue, mystery, and dangerous threats and monsters at every turn! Near the end of Chapter One (February 2014), there will even be a month long festival in Talador as part of a coronation event to appoint a new Baron in the Turamzzyrian Empire. Shops, merchants, and raffles will await you!
Heroes or villains, it makes no difference. Darkness is coming to Elanthia, and will discriminate against no one.
