Co-Worker's Not-So-Candid Quotes
"What can't Zadraes do? He's what I describe as a "Renaissance GM." He is creative, he is amazingly adept at customer service, dedicated and reliable, and he has solid technical skills. He has been a great mentor to newer GMs too. All around a wonderful guy to work with and a bright mind to behold."

"The most talented GM on staff."
I've lived around the Lake Texoma area all my life, spending about equal times in Denison and Kingston. I've been a major band nerd, book worm, school geek and computer fanatic. That last one is what brought me to DR 7 or so years ago. In Spring of 2003, I started the transition by becoming a host, and then in December I completed the move and became a GM as a Premium assistant. Since then, I've dabbled with new areas, shops, creatures (not a strong point!), ALAE, altering and LTBs. Currently, I'm a CE FGM serving as the Premium Liaison and heading up ALAE in Platinum.
Where were you born?
Where do you currently live?
3 miles east of Kingston, OK
Do you have any pets/kids/both?
No kids. Two dogs -- Tubby and Little Girl (mom and pup!) -- and a cat -- Kitty. She's the only cat I've ever known to NOT answer to that.
What is your current occupation?
I'm lucky enough that DR is one of my biggest focuses. I also do a little computer work and keep an eye on my cousins from time to time.
What did you want to be while you were growing up?
At what point? Astronomer, Astronaut, Librarian (did that!), Musician and Counselor have all been considerations at some point or another.
Favorite TV shows?
I'll be mocked to no end for parts of this list, but: old school Power Rangers (c'mon! Green Ranger rocked!), the later Charmed seasons, Dawson's Creek, Lost, Stargate (both), Heroes. I've a thing for drama, it seems.
Oh, I'm shallow. If they play a character I like, I tend to develop a temporary fixation on the actor. Richard Dean Anderson, Ian Somerhalder, Yunjin Kim and Amanda Tapping are some that I enjoy pretty much anytime I see them.
Music! I listen to a little of everything, but not a lot of anything. Red, Skillet, Linkin Park, Immediate Music, All American Rejects, Trans-Siberian Orchestra and the classic classicals tend to rank pretty high on my list of favorites.
I love the Forgotten Realms setting of stories, and particularly enjoy R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt collection. LeGuin's Earthsea series was my first step into the fantasy genre, and I've not looked back since.
Where did you go to college and what did you study?
I had two semesters at Grayson County Community College trying to figure out computer programing. I came to a quick conclusion that it was something best learned on my own and at my own pace. ::G::
Favorite/least favorite job you've ever had?
I really enjoyed my time as a librarian, though my time in DR has been (sarcasm)slightly(/sarcasm) more interesting. I'm not too big on yard work in a city setting, so my younger years back in TX with the neighborhood mowing would probably be my least favorite. I'm a youngin', not had just a whole lot of different jobs yet. ;)
Reading, gaming, going to the lake and sitting on the porch in the summer to count the cars going by. I'm pretty simple in my enjoyments.
I can cook a mean chili! Otherwise, I tend to like anything that isn't pasta or slabs of beef.
Favorite board games or computer games?
DR, of course. Space Empires II, Monopoly and Phase 10 are great fun. The Phantasy Star and Shining Force console games are pretty fun, too.
Favorite sports/sports teams?
Sports? Ick. Not my thing. Synchronized swimming count? *ducks*
What would you do with a million dollars?
I'd buy a mid-90s Ford Mustang and a late 90's Eclipse, make some minor repairs to my house, share some with my friends and then invest the rest in some way or another.
What three people past or present would you invite to dinner?
My father and an alien from the Roswell crash. Either of them could bring a friend to fill the third seat.
What is your favorite quote?
"I didn't do it!", by every person that's ever walked I'd imagine. ::G:: Einstein had a good one, too: "If A equals success, then the formula is: A = X + Y + Z, X is work. Y is play. Z is keep your mouth shut."
Name something you'd like to do before you die.
It's a goal to live through each of the major natural disasters -- a flood, a tornado, an earthquake, a hurricane and a volcano rank pretty highly in the 'musts' area.
What's your favorite acronym?
As inside joke, when pronounced in my head, it's "Stew-Foo". Wouldn't be proper to share the actual acronym, though. ;) GMTA and PAFO (I kid!) are good, too.
Who is your hero or heroine?
My father. The man had more patience than I've ever come close to having.
If you could have any musical group or artist, past or present, play at your birthday party, who would it be?
Dvorak with his "New World Symphony" would totally rock, or anything from TSO.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Time travel, so I could see all of those special moments at least one more time and avoid the haziness that time brings.
And the Zobmondo question:
Would you rather...
Have to eat a handful of chicken feathers...
eat 5 tablespoons of frog eggs?
Uh, ew? I'm not big on slimey things, so I'd find a way to choke the feathers down. What happens after they're consumed would be interesting, not in a good way I'm thinking. =/
