Co-Worker's Not-So-Candid Quotes
"What can you say about Jeremael that even comes close to capturing it all. He is awesome. He can make the most complicated things look easy, and all the while actually teach you, and improve your coding while he does his own thing. He is patient, even when you come to him repeatedly with questions that you bop yourself later over because the answer was staring you right in the face. He is just one of the coolest people on staff, and he can create the impossible."
"Jeremael is a quiet earthquake. You see him around, silently going about his business in DEV; then suddenly the game landscape rumbles and shakes with the sound of a new game system going live: horses... tattoos... beards... boats... homes... among other things. And, through all his efforts, he STILL makes time encourage and teach other GMs."
"Jeremael is probably the most important GM you never hear about. He does an absolute ton of system work and code quality control. His QCs were an integral part of my learning how to code (well, without destroying the game too badly). Absolutely an awesome guy."
"I don't know what to say about Jeremael, other than I wish I could put him under my pillow and soak up even half his talent while I sleep."
"What can you say about the lead game designer who either created or maintains Ships (including ferries and barges), Carousels (and aren't those new storage options in them really nice?!), Horses, Homes, Beards, Auctions, ...? All I can say is: "Wow. Thank goodness we have him."
"Jeremael lurks in the darkest parts of DragonRealms. I don't think anyone REALLY knows what he does in his laboratory, but every once in a while, he surfaces with a bajillion lines of code and says, "By the way, that new system we talked about is done," and releases the most spectacular things in Elanthia that we all take for granted on a daily basis."
I've been a DragonRealms GameMaster for just over four years now. My first project was helping the creation of the fourth province. I created almost the whole of Hara'jaal along with a few places on Ratha as well as putting together the mechanics for just about all of the first ships. Since then I've helped develop many different things. I've been the guru of the Ship and Home systems for almost three years now. My most recent development project was the implementation of the Horse system.

And the Zobmondo question:
Have someone throw a SCUBA tank into the middle of the ocean, then have to wait 10 seconds, dive in, and try to retrieve it before drowning...
have someone throw a parachute out of a plane and have to wait 10 seconds before diving out to grab it before splatting?
I've always been a better swimmer than flyer so I'll take the first option.
