Creatures Run Amuck!
Posted on 02/23/2010 11:52 PM CST by the Webstaff

Several updates have been made to various areas in the game...

Recently in Zoluren, a careless farmer uncovered a previously hidden section of the Applebrandy Riverbed. He inadvertently exposed a nesting site for the grass eels and caused them to run amok around the orchard, grassland path, and even inside Crossing. Fortunately, the efforts of nearby citizens and good samaritans helped quell the disruption, and everything returned to normal shortly after.  Check it out!

Then, GM Dartenian lost his mind briefly, and accidentally on-purpose released three tiers of stone-throwing imps along the Greater Fist footpath. Difficulty ranges from around rock troll level to gargoyle level to roughly viper level. At least in theory; imps don't always do what you expect. In fact, they rather tend to do the opposite of what you expect.  More info here.

Finally, Riverhaven is currently being invaded along River Road by a new creature. We're looking for feedback on the creatures from those within its range -- does it hit too hard, how does it teach (low/high?), defenses too high/low, etc. They'll only be around for a few days, so don't delay if you'd like to play with them.  Comment on this one here.
