Scars, Mud and Critters ... Oh my!
Posted on 06/09/2008 11:23 PM CDT by the Webstaff
DEATH SCARS:

Death scars are now a thing of the past. Need we say more?   Yay!!!!

CLEAR AS MUD?

Movement traps like the mud on the northern trade route have had a slight overhaul.  The maximum roundtimes for failure and getting free have been reduced. In addition, some messaging has been added to provide newer players (and us older folks who forget) with some hints on how to escape if they don't have sufficient skill.  Details here...

CRITTERS:

Players hunting in the CROCODILE marsh across the river from Riverhaven will notice a higher chance that the critters will find you rather than the other way around. Note that this change is effective in about half of the hunting area. The remaining rooms will continue the way they were before.  Details on crocodiles, here...

BLOOD WOLVES have had their spawn very slightly increased, and be more likely to find a player when they do.

MOSS MEYS should have a slightly better chance of spawning in a room with a player.

LA'TAMI should now spawn a better overall. The region they inhabit has been divided in two. The first portion should behave as before, although the spawn rate should appear better since they have fewer rooms to choose from now. The second portion shares the benefit of the first, but in addition has a significantly higher chance of spawning in an occupied room.
