CyberPods

CyberPods were originally designed as support vehicles for mining operations in rugged terrain. Their chief benefit is their agility and their ability to be customized. With the recent collapse of the wormhole, and the subsequent unrest, these agile "pods" have been converted to military use, chiefly because of their ability to be easily customized. Special weapons modifications replaced the mining modifications to turn the "pods" into small, but lethal weapons platforms. But the smart CyberPilot will remember the chief benefits of a CyberPod, its agility. Smart CyberPilots survive, the dumb ones die.

Agility
Learning to move around in your CyberPod is a must. The CyberPod is fast, it can jump, and its chassis can turn independently of its torso. In a fire-fight, the ability to take advantage of each of these aspects of your pod can mean the difference between victory and defeat. Your opponents are very capable in manipulating their pods, and you must become a capable pilot yourself.
