Simutronics Launches Industry’s Top-Grossing Multiplayer Game

Simutronics Corporation announced today its launch of GemStone III, the electronic game industry’s top-grossing online multiplayer game, to wide availability on America Online, the world’s largest and fastest-growing online service. GemStone III is a fantasy role-playing game where players take on the personae of wizards, warriors, clerics, and others within a huge fantasy world. GemStone III has been available for several years on General Electric’s GEnie service, where it has been consistently the service’s top-grossing area of any type.

Simutronics Games To Be Available On America Online And Prodigy

Simutronics Corporation today announced that it will be offering online multi-player games through America Online and Prodigy, two of the world’s largest consumer online services with more than 4.5 million total subscribers. Simutronics is a seven-year-old company that designs, develops, publishes, and manages online multiplayer games. Its popular titles include GemStone, a fantasy role-playing game, CyberStrike, a robot action game, and its latest game, Modus Operandi, developed with Time Warner’s Mysterious Press. Simutronics games are already offered through General Electric’s GEnie service, where Simutronics is the top content provider.
