Internship Positions

Game industry veteran Simutronics is looking for multiple part-time interns. All positions are in-house only, in St. Louis, Missouri. This is an excellent opportunity to get into the game industry, as Simutronics is a 20-year veteran game development company. Interns are unpaid, but are also the priority candidates when fulltime paid positions open up. Note that interns outside of Missouri are welcome to apply, but Simutronics will not be paying relocation expenses, so travel and accommodations would still be your responsibility.

The following part-time unpaid intern positions are available (minimum 15 hours/week, 3-6 month commitment). You pick your days and hours. We work with your schedule.

Programmer

• Needs to have strong coding skills (specific language not important) and will be required to take a programming test, both written and oral.

QA / Testing

• Needs to be detail-oriented and enjoy rooting out bugs and errors. There will be a written test followed by an interview.

Successful interns will exhibit talent and experience in the area they wish to apply. Typically, we are looking for candidates who are already pursuing a career in the game industry, but have yet to break into it. There is a possibility that any of these opportunities might lead to fulltime paid employment, as we always look to our successful interns first when deciding to hire new talent. We involve our interns deeply into the process. You won't be fetching coffee. You'll be an integral part of the development and testing of our games.
