Version 4.2.2 Beta Features
- The "Edit Window" option found in the context menu of text view windows has been reworked. This update should resolve any issues that Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard users had with changing fonts.
- Highlights now support a transparent background color option.
- Two new script commands, CALL and RETURN, have been added to the script engine, and are documented in the Scripting Help.rtf file.
- Three new script system variables: $script_name$, $script$, and $time$, have been added to the scripting engine, and are documented in the Scripting Help.rtf file.
- The unending "Connection Error" alerts that occasionally plagued Avalon when it trapped an error should be resolved. Exceptions thrown by plugins should also no longer be caught by this exception handler.
- Script commands should now be properly executed from macros and properly saved in the command line history.
- A bug where using WAITFOR\RE or MATCH\RE to match against text early lines of multi-line output has been resolved. These command should be functions as expected.
