New Player's Guide
One of the first questions many new players ask is, "What am I
supposed to do?" There really is no easy answer to this, but we
hope to provide all the information that you'll need to make informed
decisions within the game. The first thing you need to do is learn
how to control your character, and tell him or her what to do.
The game engine, Simutronics' Interactive Fiction Engine (IFE),
is an amazingly complex game system. It allows us to create vividly
detailed virtual worlds, and it allows you to play in those worlds
using hundreds of plain English commands. We provide the chalkboard;
now we're handing you the chalk.
